About Wan 3.0

Wan 3.0 is Alibaba's latest generation video model. Its stand-out feature is length: a single generation can run from 2 to 30 seconds, at 480p, 720p or 1080p, with optional generated audio and no audio surcharge.

Modes available on WandVideo

  • Text to video in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 or 3:4.
  • Image to video with a start image and an optional end image; the aspect ratio adapts to the start image.

Prompting tips

  1. Prompt expansion is on by default, which helps short prompts but adds 20–60 seconds of latency. Longer, specific prompts still produce the best results.
  2. For clips over 15 seconds, describe a progression: "begins with…, then…, ends on…".
  3. Use 720p for social and web use; reserve 1080p for hero shots.

Credits

Wan 3.0 is billed per second by resolution, and audio does not change the price. It is the most economical way to produce long clips on WandVideo.

Safety

The provider runs content moderation on both inputs and outputs. Blocked generations fail and are refunded.
